About
Hidden Side of Korea (hiddensideof.com) shows the real reasons behind things in Korea that look obvious, in under two minutes.
What we make
- Short videos on the laws, standards and history behind buildings, land, homes and money in Korea, from why villas stop at five floors to why a rail tunnel was dug under Gangnam when Seoul Station ran out of room.
- Four series: The Hidden Side of Architecture, Real Estate, Money and Stocks. We do not give buy-or-sell advice; we cover the rules and structures behind events.
- All videos are made with AI. Most are narrated in Korean.
What this site has
- For each video, the source behind every sentence: ✔ means we checked it against the institution's original text, △ means we could only confirm it through news reports.
- English pages for selected episodes. All episodes are on the Korean site.
- A corrections log (in Korean) of what we fixed in the videos and on the site.
If you spot an error
- Reply to our post on X (@hiddensideofkr). Tell us which sentence, according to what source, and how it differs. If a fact turns out to be wrong, we record the fix with the date in the corrections log.
